THE PRODUCT

Diário do Direito is a cloud-based legal management platform (SaaS) designed for lawyers, law firms, and legal departments to efficiently manage their daily operations, streamline legal workflows, and reduce operational risks. The platform offers an integrated system, providing features for case tracking, client management, deadline control, and legal document handling.

THE CHALLENGE

The main challenge was transforming traditional legal workflows into an intuitive, digital-first experience for lawyers and legal professionals. As Product Design Lead, the focus was on aligning legal expertise, business needs, and design practices into one integrated platform.

This involved the creation of features such as automated case tracking, smart deadline management, and centralized document handling, all tailored for the legal routine - crucial to ensure clarity in interface behavior, minimize cognitive load, and support compliance with Brazilian court systems and procedures.

Streamline legal case and client management

User Journey
and JTBD

The user journey in Diário do Direito begins with onboarding and profile setup, enabling lawyers to quickly centralize their practice data. This connects directly to their primary jobs to be done: register and track cases efficiently, stay ahead of deadlines, and access legal documents securely from anywhere. As they progress through the platform, users engage with automated court updates, smart alerts, and financial tools, fulfilling jobs such as reducing operational risk, streamlining client communication, and gaining actionable insights into case performance.

By aligning each stage of the journey with these core jobs, the platform ensures that every interaction delivers tangible value and supports long-term professional growth.
